Born an Indgo kid, that is to say, "Additional Dimension Disorder," has been both a curse and a blessing all Ann Marie's life. She remembers that she has always been Intuitive, tuning into the energy of animals, people, trees and houses. She calls kids like herself "whale children" who "Ping" like satellites, bouncing their energy through everything around them. Such distraction made school impossibly hard to focus on. To her fathers frustration, he saw how smart his daughter was, yet could not understand her lack of focus. Her mother saw Ann as an artist.
Ann Marie's mother took her to the Art Museam in Chicago, where together they would study the paintings as well as sit on benches and watch people. "What do you feel they are thinking?" Ann Marie's mother would ask. "What do you suppose their life is like?' What Ann Marie's mother could not know is that she was teaching a coarse on intuition ... exactly Ann Marie's gift!
At 19 years old. {1970} Ann Marie spotted her first deck of Tarot cards in a gift shop. Fascinated, she taught her self how to "channel" through the cards as if little T.V. sets. So skilled did she become, and scarily accurate, it took years to feel comfortable to where the energy within was coming from. She bought a 1950's wedding dress at a thrift store, tie dyed it, and started reading from a colorful tent at art fairs, flea markets, coffee houses and Victorian boutiques.
